A 16 line hand-written satirical poem ‘De barbaarsche kok’ (The barbaric cook) surrounded by four illustrations. The narrative begins with a woman asking her neigbour, a cook, if he has seen her cat. It ends with the cook deciding to use the animal for one of his dishes. C.S. Roos was a glass-painter and art teacher in Amsterdam (Lit.: Scheen).
