Delft, De Groot, 1829, large 4o, 15 pages text, 7 lithograph plates (J. Jelgerhuis/J.A. Daiwaille), these fine lithographs of the monuments in both churches have been enlivened by the addition of people admiring the tombs. The plates include the tombs of Hugo de Groot, Van Leeuwenhoek, Elisabeth Morgan- van Marnix, M.H. Tromp, Piet Hein, Willem I (2x), fine half leather binding with marbled boards. Attractive book. Includes a loose leaflet with Naamlijst der Inteekenaren, the names of the people that pre-ordered the book.
