Full-length portrait of Saint Suitbert of Kaiserswerth (died 713), an English missionary who accompanied Willibrord.
Engraving on hand laid paper, sheet size 298 x 466 mm., attached to carrier 397 x 563 mm., engraved by Frederik Bloemaert (1614-1690) after Abraham Bloemaert (1566-1651). Published c. 1635-1650 in a series of portraits of prelates and bishops.
In very good condition, cropped within platemark, a horizontal crease over the middle of the sheet.
