Two volumes in one binding. Volume 1: 234 pp. and 5 illustrations (3 fold-out illustrations and two etchings by Bartsch (one is a frontispiece portraying Rembrandt). Volume 2: 182 pp with a frontispiece by Bartsch portraying Livens.

The spine has been rebacked. The book comes with a restoration report (in Dutch).
