Princess Augusta of Cambridge (1822-1916) was a British princess and granddaughter of King George III. She married Frederick William of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in 1843 and later became Grand Duchess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The couple had two sons, one of whom became Grand Duke Adolphus Frederick V. Augusta spent most of her life in Germany and remained Grand Duchess until her husband's death in 1904. She died in 1916 at the age of 94.
