Johan d'Aulnis de Bourouill (1850-1930) was a Dutch jurist, economist, and professor at the University of Utrecht. After studying law at Leiden University, he worked as a lawyer and later as a civil servant before becoming a professor of economics, statistics, and political history. He was known as a leading liberal economist and wrote extensively on economics, trade policy, and socialism. D'Aulnis also represented the Dutch government at several international economic conferences, especially on sugar trade issues. He remained an influential scholar and public figure until his retirement in 1917.
