Jean-François Collin d'Harleville (1755-1806) was a French playwright. His most succesful play was ‘Le vieux célibataire’, which appeared in 1793. ‘Le Vieillard et les jeunes gens’ appeared in 1803 and was first performed in Théatre Louvois, le 15 prairial an 11 (June 4th).
