Leeuwarden, Joh. Seydel, 1799, 12.5×8 cm with mostly three folded leaves per signature, limp parchment spitselbinding wrapping over to the front (envelope-like cover), the almanac starts with an overview of the twelve months, this section (without page numbers) is interleaved with blank pages where the owner has made some notes in pencil, then the rest of the almanac follows: 106+ pp. plus some blank pages filled with wildlife and birdwatching notes and some financial calculations (first and last few pages of the book), the parchment cover is somewhat damaged and without the closure ribbon/cord, there are some (water)stains, the construction is still solid. The contemporary notes in pencil are clearly legible and give a lovely insight in the use of this little book. This edition not in KB (October 2020).
