Beschrijving

Single leaf with three horizontal and one vertical foldline, 32×20 cm, standard printed form combined with handwriting. Official document (no. 796) stating the birth of Maria Elisa (1892 Den Helder -1973 Den Haag), daughter of Reinhart Frans, Baron van Heerdt tot Eversberg (1863 Paramaribo -1922 Apeldoorn) and Louise Engeline Charlotte Uilkens (1868 Tjandie -1961 Den Haag). Maria Elisa was born on 7 December 1892 and the document is dated to 2 May 1906. It concerns an excerpt from the birth register of Gemeente Helder (Arrondissement Alkmaar, Provincie Noord-Holland) and it is signed by G. Wijker (Ambtenaar van de Burgerlijken Stand). The costs for this document were f. 1.05. There is also a postage stamp in blue ink in the top right corner (50c, Noord-Holland).

The family Van Heerdt is part of the old nobility of Gelderland, with Gijsbert van Heerde as oldest known ancestor. Two branches of this family were admitted to the Royal Dutch nobilty in 1814 and 1822. The head of the branch Van Heerdt tot Eversberg was addressed as count (graaf), the other familymembers as baron or baroness.
