Etching on laid paper, after design by Raphael, no. 7 from a series of 52 Biblical etchings from 1615 (known as the Raphael Bible). Monogrammed (HB) and dated in the plate. Platemark 140 x 170 mm., sheet size 194 x 249 mm., a small stain in the right edge of the image, a crease and some soiling in the margins. Literature: Bartsch XVII 316: 7, only known state.
