Engraving on laid paper, by Johann Georg Hertel (II) after Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem, with four-line caption in German and Latin, published in Augsburg, ca. 1775, sheet size: 299 x 198 mm., cropped within platemark, in matting, some small, dark stains in the image area.
A peaceful Italianate landscape with resting domestic animals, and their shepherd in the shade underneath a tree.
