Etching and engraving on laid paper, sheet size 382 x 323 mm. Made by Jonas Suyderhoef after Thomas de Keyser. Published in 1638. This print was sometimes added to Caspar Barlaeus's book 'Medicea hospes, sive descriptio publicae gratulationis, qua… Mariam de Medicis, excepit senatus populusque Amstelodamensis'Amsterdam: Joh. & Corn. Blaeu, 1638.
Seated around the table are the burgomasters Antonius Oetgens van Waveren, Albert Coenraads Burgh, Pieter Hasselaer and Abraham Boom. Standing to the left is solicitor Cornelis Davelaer. Two lines of Latin text in the caption, and the names of the depicted persons.
Margins cropped to or over the platemark. An old restoration to the top edge of the sheet, where small tears crept into the image (backed with contemporary paper and later reinforced with paper tape).
