Portrait of Frédéric Leonard (1624-1711), with bookcases and a Doric column in the background. Leonard was printer in Ordinary to the King of France.
Etching and engraving on hand laid paper, sheet size 346 x 467 mm., engraved by Gerard Edelinck (1640-1707) after Hyacinthe Rigaud (1659-1743).
In fair condition, cropped within the platemark. With three small closed tears in the left edge. Some foxing in the caption below the image.
