Venetian merchant and collector among his collection of antique statues. In his hand a small Diana effigy, his right hand on a crucifix on his chest. On the table are coins and a book.
Etching and engraving on hand laid paper, sheet size 483 x 377 mm., platemark 387 x 314 mm., engraving by Cornelis Visscher (II) (1629-1658) after Lorenzo Lotto (c. 1480-1556), published ca. 1638-1658.
A beautiful impression of this large print, with nice margins. The margins minimally discoloured (probably from previous matting), a middle fold (hardly visible on recto).
