Oval portrait of Nicolas le Camus (French statesman and politician). Below the portrait a coat of arms.
Etching and engraving on hand laid paper, 228 x 320 mm., engraved by Nicolas Henri Tardieu (1674-1749) after Hyacinthe Rigaud (1659-1743), c. 1700.
In fair condition, cropped within platemark, some paper loss in the top right edge of the sheet, a vertical crease in the left edge. Two dark spots in the caption below the image, remains of mounting to the verso.
