Three couples of figures and a single figure, near a ruined building.
Etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 190 x 146 mm., platemark 177 x 132 mm., made by Johannes Gronsveld (also: Groensveld; c. 1660-1728) after Jan van Goyen (1596-1656), print no. 4 from a series of eight landscapes.
In good condition, two diagonal creases in the top left corner, faintly stained in the top margin and top right edge. With the collection mark Lugt 2641b (attr. to W. Nijs) stamped verso.
