A path curving along the river, with a couple of figures in conversation, and a haycart being led past a house. Print number 8 from a series of ten landscapes.
Etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 216 x 158 mm., platemark 212 x 154 mm., etching by Jean Jacques de Boissieu (1736-1810) after his own design. The series was published in Paris by Pierre François Basan (1723-1797).
In good condition, margins cropped close to the platemark, a faint stain in the top edge of the image, and some browning in the top edge outside fo image area.
