A woman and son approch the grounds of the sawmill, with several buildings, logs, and tools.
Etching with plate tone on laid paper, sheet size 241 x 183 mm., platemark 228x 167 mm., etching by Gerardus Emaus de Micault (Helmond, 1798 – Gouda, 1863) after his own design. Signed and dated 1854 in the plate (top left).
In very condition. A sombre sheet, perhaps because of some general darkening of the sheet, but mostly due to the heavy plate tone.
