Beschrijving
The man holds out his hat as if begging, while leaning on a cane. The boy similarly holds a cane, but his hat is on his head.
Etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 175 x 188 mm., made by Johann Gottlieb Prestel (Grönenbach 1739-1808 Frankfurt am Main) after his own design.
In good condition, although cropped within platemark. Some faint soiling in the top corners and a faint crease in the image area.
