Two images on one plate; the top image of a sleeping lion seen on the back, the other of a reasing lion seen from the side.
Etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 220 x 354 mm., platemark 165 x 247 mm., by Johann Elias Ridinger (Ulm 1698-1767 Augsburg) after his own design, as number 10 in an unknown series, published 1748.
In good condition, the margins quite soiled and with small pinprick rust spots. Thie image generally clean and neat.
