Collection of 32 prints with an engraved title page and a folded sheet of printed introductory text. A set of interior designs, with special focus on decorated chimneys and fireplaces. This set is a continuation of the work of Bosboom on the same subject. Added: 7 similar prints, from other publications with plates by Jean Lepautre.

Etching and engraving on laid paper, sheet sizes c. 210 x 315 mm., platemark c. 130 x 210 mm. (sizes vary from print to print). Made by Jean Lepautre, and published in Amsterdam by J.B. Elwe, 1786.

In fair condition, general soiling and unevenness of the edges. Creasing and small tears in the margins (sometimes extending a little into the image area). The images generally clean. The set is numbered, and lacks prints 3-4 and 15-16.
