Dentu, Imprimeur-Libraire, 1832. 189pp. contemporary half leather binding, marbled boards, marbled endpapers, original auction description glued to endpaper, gilt decorations on spine, gilt title on spine, attractive book, 4 lithograph plates: view of Holyrood palace (Edinburgh), portrait of Charles X exciled king of France dressed in tartan, two facsimiles of handwritten notes. Some staining as result of the inserted sheets for the protection of the plates, otherwise clean and good copy. Written by French nobleman Etienne-Romain de Sèze (1780-1862) about his visit to Charles X of France, exciled for the second time in Edinburgh.
