Poppe Damave (also Poppo Hermanus Damave) (Groningen 1921 – 1988 Bonn) was a Dutch painter, watercolourist, etcher and draughtsperson. He made numerous travels throughout Europe, as well as to Morocco. The image here seems to be inspired by a trip to Souther Europe.
Image in excellent condition, the margins with stains in all four corners and discolouration in the top and lower edges of the margins (bleeding from glue on the verso), some surface damage in the top margin. None of these damages affect the image area.
