Portrait of Bernhard von Rechberg, bust-legnth, looking to the right and with one hand in his coat. Count Johann Bernhard von Rechberg und Rothenlöwen (1806-1899) was an Austrian statesman and a member of the House of Rechberg.

August Weger (Nuremberg 1823-1892 Leipzig) was a German steel engraver, active from c. 1840 to 1870. From 1849 he worked in Leipzig.
In very good condition, clean and crisp. Some small creases and minimal discolouration in the margin edges.
