Portrait of Thomas the Apostle, known as Didymus. He is standing in a landscape holding a spear in one hand and a book in the other. In the background, his martyrdom at the hands of warriors on foot and camelback is depicted.
Engraving on hand laid paper, sheet size 275 x 184 mm., platemark 256 x 175 mm. Latin caption, ending with 'AHub. ex.'. Undated, seventeenth-eighteenth century.
In fair condition, margins cropped close to the platemark, a small wormhole in the center of the sheet and another in the right edge of the sheet.
