Groningen 1993. xiv,200 pp. Wrappers. This is the personal copy owned by Henk (Hendrik Willem) van Os (28 February 1938 – 14 June 2025) who was a Dutch art historian. He served as professor of Art and Cultural History, director of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and presenter of television programs on art, who was the promotor of the author. This book comes with stellingen, a menu of the festive dinner following the defense of the dissertation, a review in manuscript by Sible de Blaauw with handweritten comments by Van Os and a copy of the speech (printed) held by Henk van Os on 27 May 1993.
