One on the endpaper in pencil: J. Radaeus, 1752. Two on the titlepage in ink: David Radaeus, 1737 and again J. Radaeus, 1752 (possibly Van den Rade?). [32] + 439 + [38] pp., the parchment has inkstains on the back, a few spitsels are broken, the endpapers on the inside of the covers are damaged, a few pages have cuts or tears (65, 79, 289, 308, 320 and the last page of the index.), the construction of the bookblock is solid. Engraved half title (J. Visscher sculp.), printer's mark on title page (‘indefessus agendo’ tireless action), some decorated initials, small engaved portraits throughout the text, the book is written in Latin, but words in Greek and Arabic are referred to in the elaborate footnotes.
