Isabella of Aragon was a Spanish princess who became Queen of France through her marriage to King Philip III of France. She was born around 1247-1248 as the daughter of King James I of Aragon.
She became queen in 1270 during the Eighth Crusade, but her reign was very short. On the journey home from the crusade, she fell from her horse while pregnant, gave birth prematurely, and died in 1271 at about 24 years old. She was the mother of Philip IV of France.
