Seventeeth plate of the series of eighteen landscapes with ruins. Here a man is netting birds: two large nets are lying in the center of the composition while the man standing on the right foreground is waiting for the animals to land on the nets to catch them. With the man are other personnages standing and sitting talking to each other. On the left gallows with a dead corps hanging from a pole. In the background some houses. Numbered on bottom right:’17’
