Brown leather hardcover whit gilt decoration and title on the spine. The spine and board edges are scuffed and the front board shows faded handwriting. Marbled edges with some pen marks.The first endpaper contains a handwritten description (Kon. Antheneum Antw.). The contents display some smudges, writing and small tears. The first and last page show larger tears. [1] [page 15-18 incorrectly rebound] iii-x, 11-248 pp. The work contains sixty-six woodcuts, two per page. The plates correspond to the fables on the surrounding pages.
