Hardcover with leather spine and marbled paper covered boards. Gilded title on the spine. The front board is separated from the spine. Small cracks on the edge of some boards, misses the portrait of Prince Johan Willem Friso. 19 x 25 cm, [36] 1-160 [84 index] pp. With engraved title page by P. Bouttats to J. Goeree with a portrait of Princess Johan Willem Friso in a medallion at the top, the black and red printed typographical title page, a vignette with the motto “In hoc signo” over the contract to the prince a vignette with his coat of arms. Furthermore, numerous head and closing vignettes, some half-page, nine historiated initials and 108 images in medallions, always six on a plate engraved by J. van Vianen.
