Jacobus van Looy ( 1855-1930) was a Dutch writer and painter. Van Looy translated some of the works by Shakespeare like Hamlet, As you like it and of course Macbeth, all accompanied with illustrations by the beloved Dutch illustrator Rie Cramer. The illustrations she made for Macbeth are sober but at the same time very decorative. B2390
