Amsterdam, Elwe & Langeveld, 1787. One sheet, ink on paper. Copper engraving. Hand coloured. Good condition. 528×625 mm. Map of Switzerland from Lake Geneva to Lake Constance. At the top of the map is a row of armorial shields for the cantons noting whether they were Catholic, Protestant or a mixture of both. The lower right corner contains a key to the location of towns of varying sizes, rivers and roads that are easy to difficult to cross, and the location of public baths.
