Lettered above the image “Spectamur Agendo”, with the engraver’s monogram and date 1769, and below the image with a Greek inscription and the information in Italian that the print was drawn and engraved in four hours by Baillie, captain of the 3rd light horse regiment: “ιλ μιο Αλφιερε / Delineato & inciso in Quatr’Ore WBaillie Capt. di 3d. Rego Caval Legiera”. The Greek transliterates as ‘Il mio Alfiere’, or ‘my flag-bearer’.
