Beschrijving
The adoration of the Shepherds: Mary kneeling on the left with hands joined in prayer, in the center the infant Christ lying on the manger and all around shepherds with animals. Above, two angels flying and hugging each other and another peeping out of the clouds. Copy in same direction from the painting by Hans von Aachen at the Museo Civico in Montepulciano (cat. 64). Other smaller versions of the painting appeared on the market with some modifications. There are also printed versions of these latter specimens. From a Missale Romanum, possibly from the second half of the seventeenth century. Not signed
