Hand coloured optical print of the Piazza Colonna in Rome. In the middle of the crowded square stands the Column of Marcus Aurelius, on which his story is pictured in a comic-like presentation. In the back buildings such as the Palazzo Montecitorio and the Palazzo Chigi are visible. Beautifully hand coloured.
