Dissertation about the position of a stadhouder in respect of the provinces of Holland and Zeeland. The author, son of orangist author and polemist Samuel Duval, published this dissertation with help of Prof. Kluit because he was prohibited to publish it by patriotic professors. he would later become advocaat at the Hof van Holland.
