Oval bust of Charles Paris d'Orléans (1649-1672), Duke of Longueville, Duke of Estouteville, Prince of Neufchatel, Count of Dunois, Count of Saint-Pol, Count of Tancarville and a military commander.
Engraving and etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 322 x 402 mm., platemark 255 x 322 mm. Engraving by Robert Nanteuil (1623-1678) after Louis Ferdinand Elle the Elder, dit Louis Le Vieux (1612 -1689), published in 1660.
In very good condition, some general toning and faint creases in the margins.
