Etching and dry needle on paper, mounted on cardboard (top right margin); evenly yellowed paper, very small margins; plate mark: 163 x 303 mm, total: 167 x 306 mm; only state, rather bright blacks, worm hole on the bottom, on the water, repaired tear at the bottom, traces of folding in the middle, some tiny spots. Published before 1656, from a set of eight plates representing the town gates of Amsterdam. In this plate the Reguliers gate. Signed on the bottom: ‘Zeeman inventor et fecit / C. Danckerts excudit.’, titled at the bottom: ‘REGELIERS POORT’.
