Franeker, Ex Officina Leonardi Strik, 1694, 8vo., full parchment spitsel binding with red and blue sprinkled edges and handwritten title on spine, [34]+411+[64] pp., some stains and smudges, cut corners of the front blank endpapers, but otherwise in good condition with solid construction and intact headbands. With an engraved frontispiece (Census Hominum Turba Promiscua), some decorative initials and a few lovely head and tail pieces. The fables of Aesopos are presented in Latin (Roman font) and a Dutch translation (Gothic font).
