Beschrijving
An italianate landscape with a man leaning on the edge of the fountain. The mule near a copse of wood to the left. Further back a woman leads a donkey on a path, and behind that a river and some structures.
Etching on hand laid paper (with French lily watermark), sheet size 197 x 240 mm., etching by Albert Meyering (Amsterdam 1645-1714 Amsterdam) after his own design.
In good condition, cropped within platemark. Some small stains in the right edge of the image, and a small stain in the top left. With the collection mark of Pim van Eekelen (Lugt 5101) stamped on the verso.
