Antoine-Vincent Arnault was a French playwright, poet, and political figure closely associated with Napoleon Bonaparte. He became famous during the French Revolution with tragedies such as Marius à Minturne and Lucrèce. After surviving the Reign of Terror, he worked for Napoleons government, helped organize French administration in the Ionian Islands, and later became a member of the Académie Française.
