Three printed documents: Complimentary card for Dordracum Illustratum as presented by Simon van Gijn to his friends dated 1912. Original handwritten note dated 11 May 1916 adressed to J.M.P. de Joncheere living at Villa Minore Vrieseweg 22 (Dordrecht) on the stationary of Simon van Gijn and an original cover (envelop) with printed the name of Simon van Gijn. Simon van Gijn (Vlaardingen, 18 September 1836 – Dordrecht, 1922) was a Dutch lawyer, banker, collector. His collection is now part of museum Huis van Gijn in Dordrecht. Mentioned is a converstaion with Jacob Vriesendorp and De Joncheere about art and the catalogue curated by Van Gijn.
