First edition of the Dutch imitator of the successful magazine Punch, created by journalist Willem Smalt (1853-1915) and illustrator Jan Linse (1843-1906). They created the character Abraham Prikkie as main character in the weekly satirical magazine ‘Abraham Prikkie’s Op- en Aanmerkingen’. This magazine consisted of four pages. Complete first edition.
