Black chalk and white heightening on brown paper, 100 x 85 mm (oval). Several annotations in pencil on verso: ‘Peter von Cornelius’ and ‘C. Barth del., 1820’. Evenly age-toned, very small oil spot in the background, otherwise in good condition.
