44 plates out of 100 portraying Rome’s palaces and ruins and even reconstruction of ancient buildings in Rome. The second state of these etchings were collected in the publication by Peter Schenck:’Roma aeterna, sive ipsius aedificiorum Romanorum, integrorium collapsorumque, conspectus duplex. ‘ Many of these plates are inspired to Etienne Duperac’s (1535-1604) ‘I Vestigi dell’ antichità di Roma…’, published in 1575. According to the ‘Aedificiorum Index’ included in the edition preserved at the Cincinnati Library plates available are: 1; 2; 4; 6; 7; 17; 20; 21; 22; 24; 28; 30; 31; 32; 37; 39; 41; 43; 45; 47-49; 51-54; 57-61; 65; 66; 68; 71-76; 78; 79; 90; 92; 99
