This hand coloured optical view shows a busy street in the Chinese city of Nanking. The street in lined by buildings with eastern looking rooftops and large pillars with natural symbols in front of them. On the street merchants in eastern clothing sell their goods and inhabitants look at a performance. Although this print is not in the best state, it catches the eye because of the extraordinary use of colour and its oriental theme.
